Next Tile

NYT Crossplay board solver: your best move from one screenshot

Upload a screenshot of your board. Next Tile shows the move most likely to win and exactly where to play it.

Free. No sign-up. Your screenshot isn't saved.

How it works

  1. Screenshot your board. Zoom out first so all 15 rows show.
  2. Upload it here. Next Tile reads every tile in a few seconds.
  3. Play the move. See where each tile goes and your chance to win.

Something misread? Tap Fix a square, tap the square and type the letter.

Screenshot after your opponent's move shows “played … for N points” so Next Tile can guess the tiles they kept.

Why not just ask ChatGPT?

A chatbot looks at your screenshot and guesses. Next Tile checks every move.

Questions

What is Next Tile?

Next Tile is a free NYT Crossplay board solver. Upload a screenshot of your board and it shows the move most likely to win, exactly where to play it, and why.

Is it free?

Yes. No account needed.

Why isn't the highest-scoring word always best?

A big score can open a triple-word square for your opponent or leave you with tiles that are hard to play. Next Tile looks ahead and picks the move that wins most often.

Does it keep my screenshot?

No. It reads the board and throws the image away.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, right in your browser. Nothing to install.

Can I use it during a game?

It only reads screenshots you take and never connects to Crossplay. Whether to use help mid-game is between you and your opponent; many players use it to review games and learn.
